Better integration between BBCode and XHTML parsers

Description
You cannot switch between using BBCode and XHTML very easily. Its some what of a nuisance to go back through your posts and update every link and image tag. Is there a way to easily convert the content when you switch methods.
On the forum there is alot of complaints about why tinyMCE isnt working in the blog so maybe we also need to provide a 'disabled' state to tinyMCE so theres the visual representation that it is not enabled rather then have a user click and nothing happen.
