It would be great if SS could extend the missing page functionality to check the page history to see if a page with that url ever did exist. If the page has been renamed and is still "live" it should do a 301 redirect to the new location.

This will help live sites with minor changes keep visibility in the search engines.

I just had a page change from "who-do-we-help" to "who-we-help". It would be good for the non-programming users out there to not have to worry about missing pages when they make small changes.
